On Thursdays, I play tennis, but I’m mostly in it for the cute outfits. On Sundays I’m cooking or baking something for someone sweet. I’m an OG pilates girl, and love to practice slow yoga to keep my mind balanced. Oh, I just got bangs and I love them…I should’ve gotten them sooner.
I’m deeply drawn to the arts; photography, music, visuals... the list goes on. As a sensitive and creative soul, being engaged with the senses through all forms is a consistent practice in my life.
My favourite artist is Amy Winehouse, but I enjoy everything from Brazilian Funk to British Rock (I still keep my fingers crossed that Radiohead will tour North America). I’ve been complimented on my music taste. I’d say it is representative of my open-mindedness; endless, curious and eclectic.
These days, I’m wandering to new places. A good friend told me being lost is good for the mind. Although, I find that I’m equally as comfortable sitting on a curb in a chaotic Colombian market as I am when meeting for an indulgent dinner.
This year, my curiosity is taking me to South America, Asia and Africa, where I’ll be getting into healthy amounts of trouble.
I often think about taking up salsa dancing, but never find the chance. So I pretend I know how and move my waist in my living room. I’m still a great dancer, though. So I’ve been told. Care to join?
